Santorini Caper “Santo”

Santorini caper (and caper leaves) comes from a bush that grows on the steep slopes of the Caldera, between the stone walls of vineyards, houses and paths all over the island. Santorini’s volcanic soil, makes local caper’s taste different and more intense in comparison with caper growing in the rest of Greece.

The Union of Santorini Cooperatives, named as SantoWines, representing all the cultivators of the island, is committed to producing authentic Santorini products of superior quality while respecting the Santorini traditional techniques, protecting the precious Santorini habitat and its sustainable development.

You can frequently use caper in salads or spicy sauces in order to add original pure taste to your favorite gastronomic creations.
