Headless salted sardines Kalloni

Kalloni, a small gulf in the island of Lesvos has a reputation for the best sardines in the Aegean Sea, and Kalloni SA, established in 1950 shares the same reputation for its canned sardines!

sardines_kalloniKalloni sardines do not contain preservatives or other additives since their main preserving agent is salt, they come solely from Greek waters and the salt used to their preparation is white sea salt. All the procedures used in fishing, transporting and proceeding the fish are with respect to the strict European and international  regulations.

Salt cured fish is of high nutritional value because it’s easily digested and it is rich in iodine, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins, proteins and unsaturated fatty acids.
