Ben & Jerry’s Liz Lemon Greek Frozen Yogurt

It’s really Greekin’ good!

Now that the beloved “30 Rock” is over, should you find yourself mourning over the loss of Liz Lemon, Jack Donaghy, Kenneth Parcell and all the other folks from Rockefeller Center, Ben & Jerry’s has good news for you, for me, for all of us since they created a new pint to ease the pain: Liz Lemon Greek Frozen Yogurt with Blueberry Lavender Swirl!

Tina’s, or Stamatina’s, as it is her whole christening name, Lemon character and Greek origin teamed up with the ice cream experts created a new flavor which is smooth as ice cream, sweet at first but turns delightfully tart with that taste of Greek yogurt. While the notes of lavender are definitely subtle, lemon and blueberry are refreshing on the tongue and blend nicely together.

This, of course, isn’t the first time Ben & Jerry’s has tread into Greek territory. The company already has several flavors featuring Greek frozen yogurt, including Blueberry Vanilla Graham and Raspberry Fudge Chunk.

It’s worth mentioning that 100% of Tina Fey’s royalties will go to “Jumpstart”, an early education organization serving children in low-income neighborhoods.
